Villa Caterina is located very close to the city of wine Terricciola, in the heart of “Alta Valdera”. The premises of the property are in an old XVII century villa, once belonged to the Pitti Family from Florence. The farm extends for 198 hectares of woods, cultivated fields and above all vineyards and olive groves that stretch radially all over a panoramic and airy hill in a wonderful setting on the way between Pisa and Volterra.
Accommodation is in 4 comfortable recently restored double bedrooms, all furnished in genuine Tuscan style. Three bedrooms have private bathroom either en-suite or next to the room. The fourth has a shared bathroom. A penthouse completes the frame with 6 sleeps and a private kitchen.
In the premises are a wonderful swimming pool in a park of historical trees, a beautiful wine cellar where you can taste some excellent wines and a lot of annexes that are ideal for ceremonies and wedding parties.
In the property guests are welcome to visit the cellar and be introduced to the excellent wines produced here.
From Villa Caterina it is very easy to reach Volterra and San Gimignano, but also Pisa, Lucca and Florence are within one driving hour.

TOURIST TAX:
As of 2012, visitors to Tuscany may be required to pay a tourist tax, the rate of which varies from town to town and according to the length of your stay. If the tax applies in the location you have selected for your stay, this will be collected by the owner/receptionist of the accommodation at your arrival and is therefore not included in our invoice and in the pricelist above.
