Katia is a very beautiful noble palace in a small village of Tuscany with accommodation in 8 elegant bedrooms, each with private bathroom. The property belongs to a local family of counts who recently turned it into the most refined and welcoming boutique hotel of the whole district of Pisa.
The hotel offers a series of communal areas that join the elegance of antique furniture with the vibration of contemporary art in a unique context of total relaxation and care to detail, from rare carpets to whimsical lamps. A large sitting room with fireplace is framed by bookshelves with interesting books, catalogues and albums. A fenced garden of mediterranean vegetation with century old olive trees and fruit trees hosts a private jacuzzi pool along with parasols and sunchairs for moments of regeneration in the warm Tuscan sunshine. A charming sheltered terrace with sitting area faces the Renaissance church of the village from a unique perspective. Finally, a charming kitchen with an unbelievable wine cellar is the place where a renowned local chef creates delicious meals with ingredients from any local producer, served in a small internal restaurant addressed to guests only.
Each room in the palace is different from the others in style, surface and furniture, with a lot of charme and tasteful fittings. All interiors have been personally designed by the countess who owns the property, often with art and antiques from her personal collection. Each unit has got a safe, free WIFI and a kettle with any necessary equipment for coffee or tea. Every room is fully air-conditioned (with individual control) and some rooms have walk-in wardrobe.
