It is a perfectly conserved Middle Ages village, built on the top of a hill and surrounded by the typical Tuscan landscape of hills, vineyards, olive groves and sunflower fields. It is possible to visit the Museum of Leonardo, his birth house, many wine cellars and many enchanting villas with unique gardens designed in the Italian style.

The unique surroundings of Vinci are just ½ hour from Florence, Pisa and Lucca, and 1 ½ hours from Siena. Local trains every half an hour from and to Pisa and Florence are easy to take at the nearest railway station Empoli.
