Libbiano
Tuscany
is famous for being a totally unspoiled
territory so it is the perfect
place to observe the sky at night.
In its green hills the local association
of astrophiles Astrofili Alta Valdera
manages a small but well equipped
astronomical observatory with
a powerful and advanced telescope.
It is possible to take part in one
of the meetings that the association
organizes and observe stars, planets,
nebulas, comets, the moon, the sun
etc.. They also organize extremely
interesting conferences on astronomical
themes. The perfect didactic occasion
to learn about the stars during
your holidays. The tour we organize
includes a visit to the medieval
town Peccioli, a dinner
in a restaurant in town and the visit
to the observatory.
