chain of mountains separating Pisa from
Lucca, called Monti Pisani, is a
unique area from the scenic point of view.
Very close to the coast and over the two
towns, these mountains are a perfect place
for trekking tours, horseriding excursions
and cultural walks. Arianna & Friends
bring you to the ruins of the old fortress
Verruca, built during the Middle Ages,
on a peak over the towns Vicopisano and
Calci, with a unique perspective of the
Charterhouse
of Calci. Our half day trekking
tour with a local naturalistic guide is
your occasion to get to learn a lot of interesting
information about the vegetation of this
particular setting.
