Alessandro is a charming agriturismo in the middle of the wine area of the Pisan hills, halfway between Pisa and Volterra.
It is a small hamlet made by three 18th century stone country houses, namely a former farmhouse in the typically Tuscan shape and two of its annexes.
The complex was wisely restored and turned into a very peaceful and elegantly furnished agriturismo with 6 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and 7 self-catering apartments. All the apartments have a private kitchen, a private bathroom and either one or two double bedrooms. Each unit has a private part of the garden with outdoor equipment.
In the property guests can relax in a large garden, in a communal lounge or at a fully equipped swimming pool.
The agriturismo has got a small restaurant available for guests only with a great chef preparing local specialities. In a terrace in front of the restaurant guests can have dinner outdoor in the good season. Next to the restaurant is also a stone oven which is used for pizza dinners. The location is ideal for cooking classes, often arranged here by our staff.
Alessandro's farm is in the middle of a large and very picturesque olive grove and and excellent extra virgin olive oil is available at the restaurant together with wine, fruits and other produce of the farm.
For lovers of trekking, the location is ideally surrounded by several pathways and gravel roads.
The property is 30 minutes away from Volterra, 45 minutes from San Gimignano, Lucca and Pisa and about 1 hour from the coast and Florence.

TOURIST TAX:
As of 2012, visitors to Tuscany may be required to pay a tourist tax, the rate of which varies from town to town and according to the length of your stay. If the tax applies in the location you have selected for your stay, this will be collected by the owner/receptionist of the accommodation at your arrival and is therefore not included in our invoice and in the pricelist above.

I'm sorry we did not get to see you one last time Massimo and I'm even more sorry that we were not able to come to your party! We were really honored that you invited us and would have really loved to come!
We just want to make sure that you know we really enjoyed our 7 Night Dinner is Ready Package - it really exceeded our expectations! Our trip to Italy would have felt superfificial without this part of the trip. The location of Selvino was lovely and a perfect place to relax in between our trips to Rome and Forence. It was also centrally located, which made it perfect for exploring Tuscany. We also learned so much about the Tuscan cuisine and culture during the cooking lessons, they were perfect! Marissa & Esther are just perfect and so much fun. One of the best parts was meeting the both of you - it was fun and interesting to learn about life in Italy from your perspectives. We are amazed that you have put together this company at a young age and are reccommending you whenever we can!
