Dorella is a wonderful country villa with dependance on top of an beautiful single hill with an enchanting panorama over the fields and woods that surround the Etruscan town Volterra. The 19th century villa can host up to 22 people. It has been wisely restored with care to details and materials so that the true Tuscan spirit was perfectly preserved.
The main villa develops in three floors. The first floor has a picturesque typical country kitchen with fireplace, large dining table and any comfort (oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine). Next to the kitchen is a dining room, a double bedroom (suitable for impaired people) with ensuite bathroom and another bathroom, both with shower.
On the second floor are 5 double bedrooms, four with ensuite bathroom with and one with external bathroom, all with shower.
On the third floor are 5 further double bedrooms, four with ensuite bathroom and one with external bathroom, all with shower. All rooms on the third floor are equipped with air-conditioning too.
The dependance has a very large sitting room with a unique panorama over the hills of Valdera. Here several sofas are in front a typical Tuscan fireplace and a Sat-TV set. In the basement is another very large dining room and a cellar.
The complex has also got a very charming small church of the 18th Century available for wedding ceremonies.
The house is surrounded by a large private garden of local vegetation where a beautiful and very panoramic swimming pool is located just in front of a scenic gazebo on a terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue.
The location is ideal to visit the rural Tuscany as Volterra is within 10 minutes drive. San Gimignano is about 30 minutes away whereas Pisa, Siena, Lucca and the coast are all within 1 hour driving.
