Erica is a historical spa resort very close to Pisa, founded during the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. The premises have been recently restored and turned into a luxury hotel with 61 bedrooms, divided into Comfort, Superior or Deluxe categories together with Junior Suites and Suites. The three-storey central villa is surrounded by a park of Mediterranean vegetation developing up to a panoramic hill with a monumental Kaffee' Haus, from which guests can admire a breathtaking sight over Pisa and the coast. Most of the rooms are wonderfully frescoed and furnished with luxury details, like marble flooring and elegant bathtubs. All units are air conditioned and equipped with any modern technology.
The resort has a large and scenic restaurant on the top floor with a renowned chef in the kitchen as well as a very chic bar in a large completely frescoed hall with smoking area an piano entertainment.
The spa makes use of natural warm waters at 40° C and 38° C flowing from the heart of the Pisan mountain. The muds of such water have always been used for healing rheumatism. Together with some indoor pools and relaxation lounges, the large spa area includes an outdoor warm water pool with jacuzzi right on a panoramic terrace in front of the main villa as well as a hammam with natural steam realized in a real cave. In the exclusive wellness center all sorts of treatments and massages are available.
Erica is also the ideal location for meetings and conferences, with a fully equipped meeting room adaptable to any sort of event. From the hotel guests can reach Pisa and Lucca in only 10 minutes and the coast in 20 minutes, whereas Florence is about 1 hour driving.

TOURIST TAX:
As of 2012, visitors to Tuscany may be required to pay a tourist tax, the rate of which varies from town to town and according to the length of your stay. If the tax applies in the location you have selected for your stay, this will be collected by the owner/receptionist of the accommodation at your arrival and is therefore not included in our invoice and in the pricelist above.
