Giuseppe's agriturismo is located on top of a chamring hill with a 360° scenic view toward the Etruscan town of Volterra. The farmhouse is particularly panoramic and the family of owners lives in some of the units in the same building. At the reception you will find an old brick oven and a portico where to enjoy the fresh air in the shade. The farm is crossed by white roads and footpaths that allow the guests to stroll through fields of wheat, sunflowers, olive tree plantation, vineyards and woodland. Giuseppe produces world renowned white and red wines and extra virgin olive oil. These products can be tasted in very informative and interesting wine tour with the winemaker. The country house was wisely restored and turned into units and double bedrooms with bathroom en-suite. The units can have one bedroom or one bedroom and a loft with extra beds, each with a spectacular view. Guests can have breakfast in a communal room that is also a restaurant, available only for events and weddings. Dinner in the Summer is usually enjoyed in a charming veranda just in front of a swimming pool.
The landlord invites the interested guests to participate to the harvesting of grapes and olives. The property is open all the year round.
The property is just 15 minutes from the FI-PI-LI highway and from Pontedera railway station, 30 minutes from Pisa Airport and Volterra and one hour from the major art cities such as Florence, Siena, Lucca, S. Gimignano and the Thyrrhenian coast.

TOURIST TAX:
As of 2012, visitors to Tuscany may be required to pay a tourist tax, the rate of which varies from town to town and according to the length of your stay. If the tax applies in the location you have selected for your stay, this will be collected by the owner/receptionist of the accommodation at your arrival and is therefore not included in our invoice and in the pricelist above.

I have to thank you again for the wonderful trip you arranged for Jan and I! It was perfect in every way! We enjoyed the cooking class so much and Carla was such a joy to meet. I'll write more later, but just wanted you to know the rest of our trip was great; the hotels in Fiorenze and Pisa were very nice also.
