Ida is a wonderful recently restored country house in the middle of a panoramic hill among vineyards of Sangiovese and Malvasia. The cottage hosts three very elegant apartments, comfortably sleeping over 14 people. The apartments have different size and share a green park of old lime trees, a stone oven and a beautiful swimming pool with wooden patio. Poggetto apartment has four double bedrooms, each with private bathroom, a large traditional living room with fireplace and kitchen. Stalla apartment has two double bedrooms sharing a bathroom and a kitchen. Mangiatoia apartment is a small one bedroom apartment. The common facilities of the complex include laundry room, a shared barbecue and a herb garden. The house belongs to a large and historical estate producing excellent wines and olive oil. Tasting of local produce is offered to the guests in the main villa.
From Ida it is very easy to reach Volterra and San Gimignano, but also Pisa, Lucca and Florence are within one driving hour.

TOURIST TAX:
As of 2012, visitors to Tuscany may be required to pay a tourist tax, the rate of which varies from town to town and according to the length of your stay. If the tax applies in the location you have selected for your stay, this will be collected by the owner/receptionist of the accommodation at your arrival and is therefore not included in our invoice and in the pricelist above.
