Luigina is a luxury resort in the woody mountains of the Maremma region, the southern part of Tuscany, half-way between Florence and Rome. Right in the middle of a gigantic park, the country hotel has gor 67 rooms (Standard, Superior and Deluxe) and suites . The rooms are all in the main premises whereas the apartments are in the park and can be studio or one-bedroom apartment. Each room is equipped with Wi-Fi Internet connection, Lcd TV and minibar. Many rooms have a balcony overlooking the surrounding woods. The resort has got a very roomy and panoramic restaurant able to contain up to 350 people. The dining room has got a huge fireplace and a very welcoming atmosphere. Outside the main building is also a panoramic swimming pool with parqueted solarium.
The most advanced facility of the resort is the wonderful wellness center with a sauna, experiential showers, jacuzzi pool, fitness center and relaxation lounge. The center is completed by a fascinating hamman realized in a salt cave. The spa has also got a beauty center where any sorts of treatments and massages are available.
Luigina is also the ideal location for conferences and meetings thanks to a large and fully equipped module-structured meeting area that can be arranged for small corporate events or for venues of any sort with up to 800 seats. The complex also includes a horse riding ground, the ideal starting point for horse riding excursions in the woods.
The country resort is between the peninsula of Argentario, in the Southern Tuscan coast, and the renowned wine areas of Montalcino and Pienza, which are 30 to 40 minutes driving away. Some of Tuscany's major attractions like Siena, Cortona or the Coast of Maremma are within one hour driving, just like Orvieto or Lake Bolsena in Latium. Other beautiful towns like Perugia or Arezzo are over one hour driving. Very close to the resort are some skiing facilities.

TOURIST TAX:
As of 2012, visitors to Tuscany may be required to pay a tourist tax, the rate of which varies from town to town and according to the length of your stay. If the tax applies in the location you have selected for your stay, this will be collected by the owner/receptionist of the accommodation at your arrival and is therefore not included in our invoice and in the pricelist above.
