Matilde
is a fantastic country resort located
a few kms south of Florence, just
outside the district of the town,
towards the Chianti region. The complex
is a fortified tower from the 13th
Century, developed into a large
country house int the following centuries
and recently restored into a luxury
residence with 7 apartments. The
resort is in a very panoramic location
in the clearing of a beautiful
chestnut wood.
In all units guests can make use of
advanced domotics like electronic
badge access, LCD TVs, Sky home cinema
package, WI-FI internet connection,
DVD player and home theater system.
The apartments are fully air-conditioned.
The park surrounding the houese is
adorned with flowers and local plants.
Just in front of the house is a large
swimming pool with waterfall and
a roomy jacuzzi. The management
is currently realising a beautiful
wellness center in the basement
of the complex.
The location is ideal for visiting
Tuscany and all Italy, since the A1
highway is only 10 kms far from the
resort. The country house is right
between Florence downtown and the
Chianti region, which guests can
reach in just a few minutes driving.
Pisa, Lucca and Siena can also be
easily reached by highway.
