Natalia
is a charming small property in
the old part of a medieval village
called Terricciola, in the most renowned
wine area of the Pisan hills
between Pisa and Volterra. The complex
is on three levels of a historical
red-brick building right over
an underground archaeological complex
dating back to the early medieval
time.
The complex is made of three apartments
of different features and size.
The units have been recently restored
preserving the typical Tuscan peculiarities
like terracotta floorings and
wooden beam ceilings.
The smallest unit is called
Girasole, hosting up to 4 people.
It is a small apartment with a small
but fully equipped kitchen and dining
room with fireplace, a double
bedroom, a bathroom with shower and
a loft with two single beds overlooking
the kitchen.
The medium unit is Margherita,
a very panoramic apartment
able to host up to 4 people. It has
got a charming double bedroom, a bathroom
with shower and a small kitchen with
a spiral staircase leading to another
double bedroom in the upper floor
with a double bed.
The most picturesque unit is
Glicine, hosting up to 5 people. It
is a large apartment with a double
bedroom, a second bedroom with French
bed where a 5th bed can be
added, a comfortable fully equipped
kitchen and a charming living room
with fireplace. The most important
amenity in this unit is a unique
terrace covered by a marvellous wisteria
where guests can easily barbecue
surrounded by a breathtaking view
over the hills of Volterra.
The complex Natalia is in a small
village with services like some bars,
a bank and a pharmacy. Within 1 hour
driving are historical destinations
like Volterra, Pisa, Lucca, Florence
and San Gimignano.
