Poldo is a typically Tuscan country cottage in the middle of a breathtaking surrounding of vineyards and fields in the area of the Florentine Hills between Castelfiorentino and Montaione. The property is made of a former farmhouse and an annex with a commual dining room for large groups of 20 people. In front of the annex guests can find a communal barbecue and pizza oven. The house is made of 4 aparments all with the same features: a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a fireplace and a toilet on the first floor, a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the second floor and a master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom on teh third floor. All bedrooms are very relaxing and paved with parquet and the double bedrooms on the top floor have also got a charming bathtub right in the room. Each apartment can sleep up to 5 people and has its own private garden with outdoor table and equipment. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a large swimming pool and the owners grow vegetables in a fenced plot where guests are always welcome. In a corner of the garden is also free WIFI connection. Finally, the communal facilities include a sheltered car park and a children playground.
Poldo is very close to historical villages like Certaldo, San Gimignano and Volterra and guests can reach Pisa, Siena or Florence in 1 hour by car.

TOURIST TAX:
As of 2012, visitors to Tuscany may be required to pay a tourist tax, the rate of which varies from town to town and according to the length of your stay. If the tax applies in the location you have selected for your stay, this will be collected by the owner/receptionist of the accommodation at your arrival and is therefore not included in our invoice and in the pricelist above.
