Tuscany, about 1 hour from Livorno.
Here the outline:
- Private
transfer by minivan or minibus
from the port of Livorno. Our English
speaking operator meets you directly
at the ship in the morning at
your convenience and tours you for
the whole day. The tour leader gives
you an interesting introduction
to the region Tuscany, its
uses, facts and history, while reaching
the place. French, German, Russian,
Spanish and Italian are also possible.
- Our chauffeur drives us on private
car or van to Florence where
we meet a local licensed city guide
and proceed for a sightseeing walking
tour in the old town for 3 hours.
You experience the most beautiful
attractions in town like the sumptuous
cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore, the
majestic Palazzo Vecchio and the picturesque
Ponte Vecchio. If you have been
to Florence before, the itinerary
will be personalized according to
your wishes.
Please, note that the entrances to
the major museums, like the Uffizi
or the Museo dell'Accademia, are not
included but can be booked in advance
to avoid hour-long waiting lines.
- After
the visit to the town a full lunch
in a typical restaurant with local
specialities is served together with
a tasting of delicious Tuscan
wines.
- The afternoon is dedicated to
shopping: you visit the
most beautiful shops in the town selling
leather goods, gold jewelry, fashionable
shoes and clothes in company with
your tour leader.
