& Friends organizes half-day
tasting tours to the pastry shop
La Vecchia Carraia in Peccioli.
The tour includes a visit to the medieval
town Peccioli
and the tasting of traditional cakes
like cantuccini, panforte and ricciarelli.
The tasting will also focus on more
modern confectionery, like chocolate
mousse and fresh cream-based
pastry. All the cakes will be
served with excellent Illy coffee
refined with liquors or with an unforgettable
cappuccino, made unique by
the secrets of the pastry cook Lorella.
