The
buildings belonging to the estate
Fattoria
Fibbiano were built
in 1707. Nowadays they have been turned
in to a tourist farm house and a medium-size
wine cellar. The family Cantoni
will be happy to introduce to you
this wonderful estate, you
will have an interesting walk through
the vineyards and learn about
the characteristics of the soil, spread
with seashells. The landlord will
show you the local plants and
the grapes and will introduce
to you the history of the area.
Surrounded by an exuberant nature,
the Farm is hiding a fascinating
mystery: tradition says that an
old spring called "the spring
of women", still visible
today, has got an extraordinary health
curing power. You will also visit
the modern cellars and an
original ancient Etruscan tomb
belonging to the estate, where the
family keeps its barriques for the
aging of the wine. You will taste
the wines, and the extra virgin
olive oil with some focaccia and bruschetta.
