Leonardo and Vinci and his home town
In the morning, the tour begins in the charming town of Vinci. Accompanied by a licensed guide, you will enjoy a one-hour guided walk through the historic center, discovering the places connected to Leonardo da Vinci's early life and learning about the town's history. The visit includes the exteriors of the former fortress, the reproduction of the Vitruvian man, and the church where Leonardo was baptized, where you can admire the original baptismal font. Let's understand together how Leonardo changed art, science, and the world with his creativity, curiosity and many talents.
After the guided walk, you will have free time to explore Vinci at your own pace. Stroll through its picturesque streets, take in the beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this small Tuscan town.

OPTIONAL: If you would like to extend your time in Vinci by about one hour, you can choose to visit one of the local museums dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci either on your own or with a guide. This includes the historic Leonardo Museum in the center of Vinci with more than 60 reconstructed machines based on his original drawings, shown together with sketches, digital displays and models. Or, alternatively, the interactive Leo Lev Exhibition Center that offers a different, more experiential look at the genius of Leonardo, that combines art, augmented reality and hands-on experiences, housed in a historic villa in town.

A Medici Wine Estate, Wine Tasting and Lunch
Next, the tour continues to an elegant historic villa, a winery that once belonged to the Medici family. This villa was used as a hunting mansion, and today you can still admire the Medici coat of arms and the beautiful Renaissance architecture.
The estate is now carefully preserved by a noble family, who combine tradition with modern sustainable practices and produces very interesting organic wines. You will visit the underground historic wine cellar, discovering the story of the villa and the centuries-old wine tradition of the region.
At the villa, enjoy a lunch accompanied by a wine tasting. Taste selected organic wines from the estate paired with traditional Tuscan dishes, fully enjoying the flavors of the region in a beautiful setting.
Each wine is inspired by a 19th-century Italian poet who once lived on the property, adding a poetic touch to your tasting experience.

A Private Tuscan Experience
This full-day tour combines art, history, wine, and stunning landscapes, all with a private guide. It is a unique journey into the heart of Tuscany, where the genius of Leonardo and the legacy of the Medici come alive.

This is a message from Roxanne who enjoyed a tour throughout Tuscany

Good afternoon

We booked 2 days of tours with you last November and I’m not sure if I ever let you know how much we enjoyed the tours-especially your guide’s company.  We did a day trip to the chocolate  making in San Miniato and then Vinci.  The next day we toured Pisa and Lucca.  The kids really enjoyed the chocolate making.  I have pictures I can send if you are interested in seeing them.  Thanks again and any time I hear of someone traveling your way, I recommend your company.

Dear Arianna and Carine

Just a note to say how much we enjoyed your tour to Vinci and the Wine farm and the cooking at Licia\’s. You have both been so helpful and kind, and knowledgable about your subjects.
