Micio – B&B between Pisa and Volterra
Restaurant: yes
Micio is a very cozy and picturesque 19th century colonica house in the middle of the Pisan hills district, where a nice couple of onwers run an authentic B&B and welcome visitors from all over the world.
The communal areas of the property include a fantastic large kitchen in the cotto-vaulted ground floor, where breakfast is served every day, and a storage room with wine and extra virgin olive oil from the small estate on sale for guests. Through an external typically Tuscan staircase or through a modern internal access, visitors can get to the second floor where three en-suite rooms are available along with the owners’ area. Every room is equipped with simple recovered and repainted rural furniture and adorned with wooden beam ceilings and cotto floorings. Every room can be used for single, double or triple occupancy and/or adjusted for children.
The property has got a private parking area and a fenced garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, along with a playground for children. Micio’s owners welcome any guest who need to use their computer with WIFI internet connection, free of charge.
The property is very close to Volterra and San Gimignano and within one hour driving from Pisa, Lucca and Florence.

This property is in the Tuscan countryside, an area hardly served by public transport. We highly recommend renting a car to be free to move around. Alternatively, we can suggest booking our valued chauffeur service on board luxury cars or vans. In this case a public bus service combined with a train service is available.
