Artisanal Chocolate in the heart of Tuscany
Discover with us the world-class artisanal chocolate produced in Tuscany. Indulge your sweet side with a special chocolate tasting in collaboration with an extraordinary renowned woman, who earned the distinction of being the first female Maître Chocolatier.
We will meet Cecilia and her son at their workshop. They will explain to us how the finest cocoa beans from around the world are selected and turned into extraordinary chocolate creations.
Inspired by Tuscan tradition and global flavors, her chocolate is refined with unique techniques.
What makes her creations truly fascinating is her innovative approach: she ages chocolate in alabaster basins from Volterra, a Tuscan stone that brings out deeper aromatic harmonies and textures you won't find anywhere else.
She believes that "making chocolate is a bit like dancing: it requires elegance, rigor, discipline and the strength to keep trying every step until you find the perfect balance". Let's discover together the results of this approach.
You'll enjoy several chocolate varieties, and with every bite, you'll discover the secrets and artistry that make them truly special.
Wine Tasting in Terricciola & Chocolate Finale
After the chocolate experience, before heading to the winery, you and your guide will select one chocolate bar and take it to the winemakers, who will use it to create the perfect pairing with one of their finest wines.
We will be in the Terricciola area, one of the most scenic wine districts of Tuscany. We have selected 3 wineries that have the right wines to math with chocolate, we will choose one of them according to their availability. It will be a charming winery overlooking rolling hills, vineyards, and picturesque Tuscan villages. Together with the wine maker and your guide, you will learn about the terroir and winemaking traditions and explore the vineyards and cellar.
After the visit, we will sit down for our guided wine tasting experience. Each wine will be paired with delicious homemade food and local specialties for a wonderful guided Tuscan lunch . At the end, the final wine will be matched with Cecilia's exquisite chocolate you selected.
A delightful finale that brings together the two highlights of the day: wine and chocolate.

This tour includes some stairs and a few more challenging stretches. If you have any accessibility needs — whether mobility-related, sensory, cognitive, or any other requirements — please let us know in advance and we will do our best to adapt the itinerary for you.
LOCATION OF ATTRACTIONS:
This tour takes place in the small villages of Terricciola and Capannoli just 30 minutes from Pisa, 1 hour from Florence, 15 km from Selvatelle, about 20 km from San Gimignano and Montaione.

The destinations reached during this activity are in the Tuscan countryside, in areas off the beaten track that cannot be reached by public transport. We highly recommend renting a car or a scooter in order to reach them. As an alternative, we can offer a valued service by chauffeured car, van or minibus. Any cost of transportation is to be added to the rates displayed on the rate table of this page.
