Vip Pasta museum, wine & history
HISTORY AND TYPICAL PRODUCTS, A WINNING COMBINATION!
This experience takes you to two special places: an amazing pasta factory run by the same family since the 1800s, and a historic wine estate with roots going back to the 1500s.
Pasta factory and pasta museum
When people think of pasta, they think of Italy. But good pasta comes from care, quality ingredients, and respect for tradition.
We will visit a high-quality pasta factory in Tuscany and its small museum to learn how pasta has been made over the years. Founded in 1860, this family business is now run by the fifth generation and still follows its original methods.
Inside the pasta museum, you will discover the history of pasta making through old tools, machines, and original documents. The museum also displays vintage packaging, historical photos, and equipment used by past generations, helping you understand the strong link between tradition, family work, and quality. Then we will walk through the factory to see the different steps of production: from the arrival of the raw ingredients to the final packaging. You will learn how the dough is prepared, shaped, and slowly dried, and why time, temperature, and patience are so important for quality pasta. You will also see the machines in use and understand how traditional methods are combined with modern technology to keep the same high standards over the years.
Pasta-based lunch
After the visit, it's time to enjoy the pasta! You will taste their delicious pasta, including the famous wheat germ pasta. Lunch is served in their elegant restaurant, located just above the pasta museum. The meal includes two different pasta dishes, each with its own story, plus a traditional dessert, all accompanied by a glass of good local wine.
A premium historical winery & villa
Our journey continues to a winery located in a timeless place, where intellectuals, famous personalities from the international and Italian artistic, cultural, and business world have stayed over the years.
From the Florentine family Capponi, through the writer Alessandro Manzoni, to the actor Marcello Mastroianni, this Villa is even connected with the history of the Agnelli family (Fiat) and the Piaggio family (Vespa) in the 50s.
As an exclusive part of this tour, you will have special access to the Grand Salon of a private historical villa and its beautiful Italian Renaissance garden.
Visit their modern cellar and the captivating historical cellar where their finest wines age, and savor three distinctive wines where Sangiovese and Syrah grapes take the spotlight.
As a keepsake, you’ll receive a silk-screened wine glass to take home.
