Lucia – Agriturismo with pool & little restaurant near Volterra

Lucia is a picturesque country farmhouse on a hilltop near Volterra with an enchanting view over the hilly territory of Peccioli. The property produces excellent extra virgin olive oil from 700 olive trees and typically Tuscan wine from a vineyard situated just nex to the swimming pool. All the produce is served by the owners at a small restaurant in the complex, open all days for breakfast and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for dinner.
Accommodation is in 6 very comfortable self-catering apartments, each with kitchen (equipped with dishwasher) and living room, one or two double bedrooms and one bathroom. All units are air-conditioned and can sleep from 2 to 6 people.
As an alternative, guests can stay in 3 double bedrooms or 1 suite, all with en-suite bathroom, on a B&B basis.
The premises are in the middle of a very beautiful park, adorned with flowers and olive trees. A very charming terrace is ideal to enjoy the romantic scenery of the surrounding hills and a charming swimming pool, just next to the local vineyard, is excellent in hot days for some refreshment.
Guests at Lucia’s can use a communal laundry service and can park their cars among the olive trees.
The location is just 30 minutes away from both Volterra and San Gimignano. Other important locations like Pisa, Lucca, Florence and the coast are within 1 hour driving.
